We started Catalation because the gap between having an idea and running a real business is absurd. Years of work, a team you have to assemble, capital you have to raise, operations you have to learn — most of it has nothing to do with the idea itself.
The hard parts of starting a business have always been the operational ones. Hiring. Coordination. Repetition. The endless task of keeping a company alive long enough for the idea to find its market. That work has been the price of admission. We think it shouldn't be.

Bounded, on purpose
We could say “fully autonomous.” We don't, because it isn't true of any system we'd trust with money, and it wouldn't be true of ours. The CEO acts below a line you can read and change, and proposes above it. When numbers slip it brings you data and cheap experiments, not a pivot. Over-claiming autonomy is how trust gets lost, and trust is the only thing that makes any of this work.
